Big Bow

My first in a series of self portraits. I'm rockin' my big red bow headband that I bought with my friends from Japan. I'm still waiting for an occasion to wear it.

Too Cool

I saw this girl on the T. I couldn't resist sketching her, she just had such a great vibe and oozed confidence.

The Moms

This was a quick sketch for a painting of my mom, for my mom. It looks like someone, but not my mother. Someone Swedish, perhaps...

Extra Paint

When I have leftover paint I put it in my sketchbook.  It's a great way to conserve paint, create toned pages to paint on, and to experiment with texture!

Book Theif

This villainous menace is a monstrous meanie. She's sour as a lemon and loves to steal books. Watch out or it'll be your book she's after!
